Registration and tryouts are now CLOSED for the 2023/2024 Season. Teams have been posted for grades 6-8 and can be found on the 2023/2024 tab. Grades 4 & 5 will be posted once tryouts are complete.

2022-2023 SAYBA Season Update

8th Grade Girls Only - Please read if you have an 8th grade girl.
Tryouts, team formation and the start of the SAYBA season will be pushed back to a later date, once it is determined if there is a need from the High School program for any 8th graders/players to move up a level. The plan at this time is to host tryouts in mid to late November with a season start of December 1. More information to come, as the high school program kicks off in early/mid November. This change will allow SAYBA to evaluate team needs for this level.
As a result of the delayed start to SAYBA’s 8th grade girls program, the fee for 8th grade girls will be reduced to $325 with a reduction in the number of tournaments to 7 tournaments (from 8 listed in our handbook).
The above being said, we still need all 8th grade girls interested in playing SAYAB to register by the registration deadline of September 8. Payment will be collected at a later date for this group.
Note: SAYBA has decided to take this approach to eliminate potential team replacement should the HS see a need or decide to pull anyone up. There is no guarantee that any player will be moved up.
